AlexisSad Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Me and my ex broke up 5 months ago, she said she didn't love me anymore blah blah blah i had a hard time but met a new girl whom i am currently dating for about a month. About 2 weeks ago my ex messages me on Facebook pretty much saying i heard you started working(i was unable to work because of my anxiety and OCD but sorted it all out) and is happy for me and asked me how my school went and pretty much went on to say shes in financial trouble and she would like me to pay her back for the computer she bought me while we were dating. It was a bit of a shock to hear from her after 5 months of silence but i did tell her id pay her back i don't really mind i figured she just wants money. After i agreed she then went on to ask me 'so any new girl yet?' I said yes and then she began to ask me how did i meet her, how long have we been together, how often do i see her, how far does she live. I found it a little strange why she would want to know all of these things so i answered them and made small talk and found out shes seeing someone 2 for about 3 months now. Later that day her new bf tried to add me on Facebook and messaged me trying to be all tough saying he wants to make sure i pay her blah blah blah, she said she didn't say anything and he just looked at the messages, that got me a little rattled. Then a couple days later she randomly texts me that shes teaching in my nephews school. we made small talk and she asked me if i could pay her and i said next pay cheque. It's been about a week with no contact from her and i just don't know what's going on. I know she will message me about the money and she even said maybe we could meet up every two weeks so i can make a payment. I must say hearing from her again brought up A LOT of old feelings and i am miserable again. I just don't understand why shed ask me about my gf if she has a bf... Also i removed my ex from Facebook and 3-4 months ago i started talking to an old female friend on facebook, liked her statuses and stuff and the friend told me my ex tried to add her as a friend. I removed my ex so the only way shed know i was interacting with this girl is by physically going onto my Facebook, also my old cell phone was broken so i had to use a program on the computer to view and send texts. I put this program onto her computer while we where dating and one day it logged me off saying someone logged on from somewhere else, now i don't know 100% if it was her but it sure seems like it was. I really like my current gf and want to try with her but i know i can't with these old feelings for my ex. Anyone have any insight on what i should do and why my ex might be doing what shes doing?

Anyone have any insight on what i should do and why my ex might be doing what shes doing? dude you're over thinking it. she wants her money. pay her. it's natural for her to make small talk and not just keep asking about the money. it's also natural for her any girl to not like their exes dating new girls, even when they want nothing to do with them anymore. bottom line is pay her asap and go back to NC. there's nothing here. 2
