bigheartedgirl Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 My name is Jasmine.Ok in middle school when I was in 5th grade, this named Ryan used to pick on me and call me names[like cry baby]. In 6th grade he continued to be mean to me. I hated him. One day I had asked him why does he hate me. He said he didn't. I said" Well why are you mean to me?" He never did say anything. I Later on in the school year, I had started liking him. One day 2 of his friends told me that he liked me. Back in the classroom,Ryan comes up to me and says"Jasmine do you still love me?" I was surprised by that question. Then he asks me twice"Did they tell you that I like you?" I said yes and he just smiled. Later on on a field trip he was looking and smiling at me on the bus,even my mom noticed. In 7th grade he acted like nothing happened. He didn't really do anything. One day I decided to speak to him' I said hi and he said hi backed and then we smiled. In 8th grade, he started hanging out with different girls one on one. He had seemed to talk to every other girl but me. I had wrote him a note. It had 3 question; Do u still like me? Do u hate me? Do u have a girlfriend?So his cousin gave it to him.He didn't respond. One day at breakfast I sat beside him to talk to one of my friends. He was right beside me. He got up and said that he would be right back but he never was. His face looked flustered and he was smiling. Anyway soon I got up the courage to write him another letter. His cousin gave it to him. That day I didn't see him around anymore. The last day before Xmas I was walking to a classroom to go watch a movie. He and his best pal were talking. He was eating pizza. When he saw he he stopped chewing. After I got past him he finished eating. In the classroom, He went to the restroom 3 times. We had been sitting close. He acted nervous the whole time. Later his best pal had came up to me. I had asked him why doesn't he talk to me. He said he didn't know so he went to ask him. When he came back he said "He said the reason he doesn't talk to u is because he don't like you. I said"Oh really?" Then he looked surprised and went back to talk Ryan. Later they both came up to me. His pal was giggling. Ryan said"Did he tell u that I really like you?" I said " No .' Then he said" Well don't listen to him." His pal was almost bursting out laughing. Ryan had had a serious look. When he came back by he looked at me and smiled. After Xmas vacation I noticed he still hung out with girls one on one. This girl he was with at the time had wrote him the second time,they didn't hang out anymore. Whenever he was talking to a girl,he would watch me. In 9th grade I got attention from guys. Ryan ended up having 2 gf's to. When he was with these 2 different girls he would still stare at me and talk to them.This first one I had met was Anthony. He told me he was interested in me so I hung out with him. One day at break we were standing and talked to my cousin. Ryan was able to see us together. When Anthony wanted me to meet his friends we walked down the hallway. Then I noticed Ryan and his pal staring at us from the end of the hallway. The next day when I saw Ryan he looked mad in class. Next semester I had classes with Ryan and his friends.I ended up meeting 4 different guys. I got to know 3 though. One of them liked me but didn't say anything. Ryan's best pal ended up asking me if I was going with Anthony. He asked me 3 times about him. I met Eric and we became pals. Ryan's pal asked me if I was going with Eric about 4 times. In that class every time Eric and I talked Ryan's 3 friends would give us dirty looks. In PE I had that class with Ryan. I met Diaz in that one. Although I didn't get asked about him, Ryan and his other 2 friends watched me talking to him everyday. One day I was still walking and Ryan said something to his friends and went up to the balcony where Diaz was. His pals were laughing a little. Another day I got in my 2nd class and Ryan said"I hate Diaz I swear." He never said why he said he hated him either. When Ryan had hurt his ankle one day playing basketball. He was hopping and came to my desk and said that he was out of breath. He could have stopped at any of the others to. Soon I had met this other guy named Daniel. He had asked me out. This time I said yes.He had wrote me a letter actually.He was also in my PE class.Ryan one day was stringing on a rope up on the balcony watching us the whole time he was up there. After class he had asked me if I was going with him. I didn't answer him. He acted a little upset after that. Another day we were in 2nd class and he asked me again. I still didn't say anything. After school a few times Ryan decided to lift weights. My brother wanted to too. So the times we went in there and saw him he acted nervous and anxious. He could never stay still for that long. At Ryan's workplace, he had acted different than at school. He acted more like he liked me. He was still nervous around me though. We had went there only 3 times. In 10th grade I noticed the first semester he didn't really hang out with a girl one on one.Then I met Zach in my history class. Ryan and his best pal were in there to. Whenever Zach and I talked or Zach would flirt with me they would be watching us and giving us dirty looks. One day when he watched a movie in the dark. Ryan and his bud were in a good mood until.......... I went over to talk to Zach. My shoulders were hurting so he rubbed them for me. Ryan's pal was looking. At the end of class Ryan was looking mad. His gal friend was standing beside him.After school he was definitely look mad then, like he was about to punch someone. His gal friend walked beside him. One time Ryan's pal was sneaking behind us. He got close enough to hear what we were saying. Zach gave me his phone # and I gave him mine. Another time Zach was talking to me and Ryan's best guy friend and girl friend were giving dirty looks when they were talking. Ryan was also. The time after that Ryan's best guy friend is name is Ryan also and best girl friend's name is Sasha. Me and her don't like each other anyway. Anyway they both finally up to us and they both asked us if we were together. I never did tell them if we were together and neither did Zach because it's non of their business. At that time Ryan #2 had a girlfriend anyway and really cares for her, so why was he asking me about Zach? The last time I was over talking to Zach. He was flirting with me. This time when Zach wanted me to put my leg on him, I was turned to see Ryan and he suddenly blinked both eyes and smiled at me! Then after he did act like it never happened. He was flipping a rubber-band around and I begged him not hit me and he didn't. Next semester Ryan was back to the same thing. Sasha starting talking to this girl named Catherine. Before I knew it they both hung out with Ryan. He would still talk to them and watch me. He would always flirt with them when I'm around. One time I was walking down the hall with my best friend and her boyfriend. I saw Ryan and he saw me. When we stopped Ryan was just standing beside Catherine. Then seconds later, he took off and walked on without her and he normally walks with her. She had told him to wait but he just kept on walking. Then she turned around and saw me. Then she decided to walk on with her friend. The day after Ryan was right back talking to her, and talked to her for the rest of that school year. One of Ryan cousins had told me that his dad is really strict. She also said that him and his sisters are not allowed to date people of the opposite race.She said they are not racist but they are allowed to talk to other people but not allowed to date others of the opposite color. Now we are in 11th grade and not much is happening. Mom and I went down to where he works and ate there. Mom said he was so nervous. I had never saw him act like that either. He had that look in his eye like he liked me though. At school I we get to go to Technical school and ride the same bus. Before Daniel quit school, Ryan one day was watching him and give bad looks. His face look so mad until I thought he would fight him. I have never saw him so angry in my life since I have known him. The last day that Daniel rode the bus Ryan#2 looked at me and then looked at him. Daniel was sitting behind me. Me and him no longer talk. Ryan didn't ride the bus that day because he had do something for one of the teacher's. He had to drive. One time Ryan got in front us one time when we went to go pick up my brother and he had pick up his sister. He was looking at us in his side mirror. My dad was driving. When dad yelled at someone to say hi, Ryan then looked even more nervous than before. I could see him shaking and he was biting his nails. That is something he never does at school. He still hangs out with Catherine at break sometimes. He doesn't act as girl crazy as he used to. He still seems to be quiet around me though. So this is my long and confusing story and I hope that you all will be able to help me and give me advice. How does Ryan feel about me? Why did he hang out with so many girls and watch me while he was doing it? Why does he and his best friend seem so interested in whom I'm with or who I talk to? Why can't he talk to me like he does everyone else?
Taken_Angel Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Maybe he is really intimidated by you, find a time when he's alone without his friends and talk to him. If you're interested in getting to know him better maybe you two could IM or something so that you don't have to be face to face, maybe that way it would make it easier for him to reveal how he really feels about you. Also is he of a different race than you? Please explain I didn't get that part (guess I'm slow today).

I'm mixed with black,white, and indian, he's white. I have heard that his family will not let him or his sisters others of the opposite color.
