If you send a man signals and he doesnt react quickly enough do you lose interest?

Posted

Typically yes, but some girls like a challenge.

Like, a signal to stop before he plows his car into a crowd of children? Yeah, if he didn't stop fast enough, that would upset me.

If you mean commitment-wise, no, because I'm usually too busy doing my own things.

If you mean something else, put it down so I can address it correctly.

Need more details...what kind of mixed signals?

I don't send signals, so I'm good.

If I think a woman is sending me signals, I usually point out that I like a straight forward person who can speak their mind. A woman batting her eyelashes like a 14 year old girl in a romance novel set in the Middle Ages is a real turnoff to me. Sometimes she buys it, sometimes not, but nothing lost, since I like an active, not passive woman. Once in a while I misread the woman, and she wasn't sending signals at all. Then I just turn red and run to my car in shame. :o

I'm not the type of guy who puts his hands all over a woman I just met at a bar or on a first date with.

I've lost count of how many women who were obviously into me disappeared because I didn't try to sleep with them on the first date.

I've had their friends (who set us up) tell me she thought I didn't like her. WTF?!?!

I said I had a good time, I called & asked them out again & they never called me back.

I used to get annoyed by this but now I've decided I'm better off because a woman who thinks me not trying to bang her on the first date = rejection = why she is pushing 40 & still single = I most likely dodged future headaches.

What do you mean by 'too slowly'? A timeline would help :)

I don't send signals either. If I like a guy, I tell him and we (hopefully) have an adult conversation.

I respect men who want to wait until they are in an exclusive relationship before they start pressing the "PUSH HERE FOR SEX" button... especially with a stranger or near stranger.

Anyone can do that. Feels disrespectful when a guy I hardly know is trying to jump my bones. If that is what I wanted, I'd just head down to the local bar. No problemo.

the other side of the coin, women never take or look at signals.

Proof = the check engine light in the car, its a really bright yellow warning color for a reason even with a picture of the engine to hint at what might need looking at.

Never had one women act on that, result = broken car, acknowledgement "ooo i have no idea how that happened, stupid car"

Even though the car was telling you about it for 3 months!

:) My check engine light is on. I know what it is though... It is the oxygen sensor, which is used to control the fuel injection.

When the engine starts knocking, then I'll get it replaced. Otherwise, I'm not paying my mechanic to fix something that ain't critical.

Some of us have some mechanical know how and just aren't letting the car biz jerk us around. I drove across the country with a busted CV joint boot one time. Just kept filling it with bearing grease until I made it home and me and my dad could fix it for a fraction of the price of the local mechanic...

Oops! I read wrong, but still need to know what you mean by signals and what move you want him to make. Kiss, sex, relationship??

My point proven once again, the light came on for a reason, and that reason isnt for you to wait till it breaks.

Leaving an O2 sensors out of a car will leave you with bad / gone CATS = failed safety = expensive fix (generally a write off if the cars over 10 years old, CATS on my car are $2000 each, i have 2 of them), the lights on GET IT FIXED NOW
