Sexy Teddy Bear Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 So me and my ex were in a LDR. We started out together, but I ended up moving out of state during the relationship. As a result, I had left some stuff with her that I was unable to bring with me. Well, now I kinda want that stuff back. I also have some stuff from her that I am planning on mailing to her. I could just throw the junk out, but I won't. I decided to mail it to her. I will not include any notes or anything of the like. Not even a note saying, "here is your stuff back". Just the stuff and no notes or explanations. Now my stuff is more complicated. I am not sure how I can get that s**t back. She lives half way across the country, so meeting her to get it is out of the question. I plan on having my sister contact her and ask for my stuff back so I can remain NC. I don't feel like talking to her - assuming she would even answer my calls. But what method would be appropriate for her to get my stuff back to me? It's not small stuff that will fit in an envelope, she will need to pack it in a box. I don't want to send her a money order or a check because I don't trust her to use that money for shipping and packaging costs. And I very highly doubt she would pay for the costs herself. If I remember correctly, USPS has a service that allows the receiver to be billed instead of the sender. I need to go look up more info on that though. So I am really not quite sure how to handle this. What would you guys do in this situation?
2sure Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 With UPS you can email her a prepaid shipping label if you can guesstimate the weight. Then she can drop the box off at a UPS location.
Author Sexy Teddy Bear Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 Oh my god. Duh! I don't know why I didn't remember that. I have done that before with UPS. I can even arrange for them to go to her house and pick up the package. Thanks! 1
