Emmii Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Me and a guy have been spending a lot of time to together. Everytime I go over we talk watch a movie and it ends up having a mad passionate making out session. But the last time I felt comfortable with him and we slept together. The next day things were very normal between us. Thou he text me to ask me how I found the sex but I didn't reply to it and put a smile. A few days after this he asked me what I wanted? How I felt? But he didn't let me answer it. I asked him the same and he said he was confused. He said I really like you and don't wanna hurt you as your a good women. Cuz I didn't give an answer he said I'm not ready for a relationship but if you still want to come over and hang out I'm really fine with that. I just looked at him and said no thanks and said bye. A few days later I was in a cafe talking to my friend when he was behind me on the phone talking really loud. Once he finished his call he tapped the table to get my attention and asked me how I was and if I was ok. I asked him the same and he said it was tired. I just oh and turned my back to him. A friend told me he had a long face and wasn't his chirpy self. Is he trying to hide his own feelings? Or is it he wants his cake and eat it? What's he playing at?
applej4 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) I think he was pretty clear. He doesn't wnt a relationship, but it's ok with him if you want to keep coming over, hanging out, and having sex when both of you are in the mood. Your response of "No thanks" made it clear to him that you want more - a relationship. So, asking how you are isn't mysterious. Maybe he feels bad knowing you want more, but you and your friend should stop reading things into it that aren't there. How are you doing menas exactly that - no more, no less, but he doesn't want to be your boyfriend so you shouldn't delude yourself. Edited March 23, 2013 by applej4
Author Emmii Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 If it was that clear why ask? He knew I was going on dates. It's him who told me I should tell him if I go on any dates. He had a booty call when i came on the scene and he got rid off. I found out about her and when he told me I told I'd known for awhile and its not my business. He felt bad and kept saying sorry. Why ask me what my mom would say if I took him home? When I told him I was looking for a relationship but not with him why ask me what we were are? The reason I said no was because he questioned and took the spark out of. I knew it was fun that's why I never questioned as there was no need to.

That is the title of your post. When I said he was clear I mean his question "how are you" (or whatever) is not complicated and doesn't require analysis. It's a simple greeting/courtesy. Encouraging you to date others might be his way of letting you know it's not a good idea for you to get hung up on him. Surely you know you don't need to tell him when you go on dates. There is no point in that. The bigger issue is that you're picking apart everything he says and looking for some hidden meaning. Stop wondering about him and move on.
Author Emmii Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 My title wasn't asking about why he came up to me!! I was asking why he felt the need to ask me what I want and how I feel about him!! As to dating I never told him I was going on dates as its none of his business. He found out from a friend and confronted me about it. He hasn't encouraged me to date at all. In fact his always not wanting me to go out and come over to his. He makes up excuses not to go out and I have to encourage him to go out. I'm trying to understand him nothing more as I don't want to leave things on a bad note.
