MissJoness Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 why am I so unlucky?? am i just a boring person??
Toddbt12y1 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I assure you: love has nothing to do with boredom. You love someone even when they are boring. 1
t4k3c4r3 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I have, I only have 1 statement of advice for you, and this is coming from a 21 year old. Be EXTREMELY careful of who you give it to. 2
Estate Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I have, I only have 1 statement of advice for you, and this is coming from a 21 year old. Be EXTREMELY careful of who you give it to. Thanks for the overly dramatic input there. OP, you are on the opposite end of most folks on this board. If a girl glances at half the guys here on a bus, they obsess over her... thats not really love but thats what they see. If you haven't found it then you are just picky and it will work out for you better in the long run. Have high standards, don't settle. I'm not into airy fairy stuff but honestly, there's no explaining it... you can meet 100 people who are really great but you don't feel so connected to them. When you do meet someone you fall for, you'll just feel it. 1
Toddbt12y1 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Omg! Like this girl like glanced at me! I am so totally like in love now! Lol...just lol even if it's right.
JMCOSU838 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I think you're putting too much pressure on yourself. Find things you enjoy doing, do them, and let everything else work itself out.
El Brujo Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I've never been in love before, and I'm openly asexual. To me, the difference between love and lust is as plain as the difference between day and night.
MidwestUSA Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 To love someone else means you must love yourself first or at least accept and make the most of your best qualities. A positive attitude is attractive; a "woe is me" attitude is not.
fortyninethousand322 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I've been in love. Trust me, when the other person doesn't feel the same way it's worse than being waterboarded. You might not be missing out on much...
Barnacle-Bob Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Nobody loves dark-skinned women. It's a fact. Sorry. If you were light-skinned, well, love would be chasing you everywhere you went. 1
Harradin Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I assumed love was for the weak minded and that if I did fall in love, it'd happen over a long period of time. I met a girl last summer, I fell in love with her within a week and we ended up going out after a week. I guess it happens whenever it does, and not to worry about it.
MidwestUSA Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Nobody loves dark-skinned women. It's a fact. Sorry. If you were light-skinned, well, love would be chasing you everywhere you went. You forgot the nappy hair and the vajayjay that's always going to be darker than everything else.
Treasa Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 After 37 years, I fell in love with myself last year. And you know what's awesome? I have NEVER cheated on myself, never had to check my phone, never had to check my FB, and never had to worry about what I was thinking. It has seriously been the best relationship EVER. And I ALWAYS win the argument. 1
MarinaX Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I assure you: love has nothing to do with boredom. You love someone even when they are boring. Story of my last relationship. Hahahaha. I can't help but laugh because my ex didnt like to do anything except go out for dinner and yet I have to admit I'm a little heart broken after our break up. I've been in love twice and heart broken twice, maybe consider yourself lucky. You'll find love when it's time, so long as you're open to it and not the type who wants to be single forever.
somedude81 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 After seeing your other thread, there are some damn good reasons why you've never been in love.
