I have been seeing a girl i work with for about two weeks. We've only gone out twice since the weekend is the only time either of us has any free time. I like her and i get the feeling she like me too. After the first date she hugged me, but i received no hug on the 2nd. I am shy and i think she is too.

I would like to hold hands with her but i am not sure if its too soon and how i should initiate it. Should i just hold hands or ask her first.

Also, after how many dates is it acceptable to kiss, on the cheeks or lips.

When you are talking- just place your hand on her's- it makes the conversation more personal- if she turns her hand towards yours - hold it lightly

Hug her at the end of your next date- if she turns her face towards yours- go for a kiss on the cheek

Keep things at that level til you feel comfortable enough for a kiss on the lips

Things are sweeter if they move slow (IMHO) She must like you if she keeps accepting dates- just move at a comfortable pace- if she says things are going to fast- politely back off and she prob won't be offended. I have more respect for a man who takes a hint he's moving too fast -than one who hangs back forever acting wishy washy and won't progress at all.

Hey borntorun ;) maybe she was waiting for *you* to initiate the contact on the 2nd date!

Prob best to lightly, playfully touch her arm or shoulder..see how she responds, just feel it out....It's best to not make the contact too serious just in case she's not ready for it, but if she responds well, then make it a bit more of a serious/affectionate gesture without laughing etc.

For this one, see above response. A lot of romanticism and sensuality is just feeling it out. Just get your intuition working a bit more! It should most definitely lead you in the right direction since you already sound like a very sensitive & gentle person.

Y'all sound real cute together! :D Good luck :)
