Thank you for the support you guys...

It was just a relapse for me...and I know those are bound to happen sometimes, but this one caught me by surprise because I thought I was just going to have a nice shopping day at the mall lol

So sorry.I got all torn up about my previous ex. I ran into her almost on a daily basis because we only lived a mile away from each other. I know it's devastating but you handled the situation very well. You should be proud. I'm a month in right now so i know how you feel. Just do your best to accept it and try and move on.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

I think it speaks volumes about how much you love you gave to this guy if he still affects you like this. Of course, as long as you keep taking steps forward you will finally get over the hump.

I'm 2 months and I have to see my ex-gf at work a few times a week. I'm not gonna lie, she still gets under my skin. I just get depressed sometimes to see how we've turned out to be with each other. I don't even look at her at work and pretend she's not there.

I really did love him..

And yeah it is hard...I don't see him all the time, but when I do, I do what you do and pretend he isn't there. It's hard though because sometimes he likes to get in my line of view so that I DO see him, we make eye contact and either he stares blankly or smiles or turns away.

I know we will both get over this...in time

Try to stop caring about him, that's the real challenge.

There are plenty of good/positive people out there who would love to have someone care for them, just give it time.

Also the less you talk about your ex the better IMHO. I recently started a research project for school/work and I can't even begin to explain how much better I feel when I'm focused on something besides relationships. :)
