#3. I am not interested in 21 year old boys or 50 year old men.

What about a 25 year old man child?

When I still did OLD, definitely number 3 because it proved they hadn't read my profile, or had and ignored my requirements anyway (I didn't have many requirements, but someone within 10 years of my age was one).

I'll add something I found more annoying though - men who would send me passive-aggressive messages saying things like 'I bet you won't bother responding to this, but...' They really irritated me!

Absolutely! But I didn't reply because they wrote that, not because of any other reason. Those guys were often the sort who would contact me again and again and get abusive if I didn't respond - which proves my hunch that they probably weren't very nice people to begin with.

Perhaps you are taking it as aggressive behavior when its actually not.

What if he wrote that because he thought you were very pretty, and felt than you must have to sort through dozens of messages from interested guys, and didn't think he would make the cut.

So someone HOT and FAR would not annoy you?

I got a lot of that, mostly on Yahoo before Match bought them. I found it funny. Long experience with spammers and having dated internationally both affected my perspective in such matters. I still chuckle about some of those.

Perhaps, but I don't like negativity. It's a really bad first impression! And in many cases their message was self-defeating and followed up by even worse ones.

#6- Message from the handsome man who said he is looking for a relationship and immediately asked for my bra size and if I was "natural";)

Well... are you? :p

How about someone who is 55 hitting on a female MUCH younger? That's gross!

Or, when you return to OLD post relationship to have someone message you, "so I see it didn't work out then?" Uhhhhh what do you think?!

Yeah, I agree, number three was by far the most annoying. And I'm not talking like 5 years out of my dating range, I'm talking 15-20.

I don't think a person should let any messages from random strangers annoy them at all.

I would say #2.

It either sucks because the profile might be a great catch but it's too bad they are so far away.

Or when your preferences show you only want local and they still email you

All of them do, but the age bracket does the most. Older guys trying to get women in their 20's creeps me out

#8, a message from a woman who wants me to be a daddy to her army of little brats

I think it's stupid to go back on the same dating site if you met someone and it didn't work out. Atleast try a different one

Why? A) he will probably get on a different one and B) I like this one as it's a pay site and I like the interface.

Do guys actually fall for that?

Different site means different people

True. After my paid time runs out, I will change to a free site.

I think it depends on how hot the girl is.

Do bears poop in the woods???

A lot of guys fall for that because they're attracted by the chance to "be a role model". I'm not sure how becoming a stressed-out sucker makes one a role model, but OTOH I never fell for it.
