3. Message from someone who is way out of your age bracket

Out of the three i think the one that annoys me the most is number 1

THe first, for sure. I used to email the person back and say "I would like to see a picture please", and NONE have returned the email. It could be spam, law enforcement, or a scam, but not one have ever responded. Oh wait, there was one a few years ago on Match. Whoever it was said they don't know how to upload a photo but once they did they would get one to me ASAP. I'm still waiting.

4. Message from someone you find unattractive who lives 5 miles away.

At least in your #2 example, if ya'll hit it off you can be text buddies and if you ever find yourself in their neck of the woods, have someone to meet/possibly hook up with.

But getting a message notification and opening it up to find it's someone the complete opposite of what you're looking for is a donkey kick in the groin.

Or #5.........message from someone who is 1000 miles away and ugly

How are you going to be FAR and UGLY? LOL

It has been a long time since I got an unsolicited message on a dating site. So I guess count your lucky stars that someone thinks you're interesting/good looking enough to be interested in.

Ill go with 6, a girl that I went to high school with, and dated her best friend, finds me on 3 different dating sites and proceeds to try and message me on all three of them.

I can't recall an OLD message which annoyed me so I'd have to say none of the above.

I did laugh at a few. A sense of humor helps when doing OLD, I found.

#2 is the most annoying largely because they aren't relocating to my area so contacting me is just a waste of time.

#1 comes in second only because if the rest of their profile is interesting I can contact them asking for a picture.

#6- Message from the handsome man who said he is looking for a relationship and immediately asked for my bra size and if I was "natural";)

Yes! I think the best approach is that you can hope for the best, but take none of it completely seriously..

forgot to add #7 - Message from the man (whom I told I do not "sex chat") that said "that's OK with can have a normal chat", but he attached a penis pic for good measure anyway! lol

No.... you have it incorrect. I dated her best friend. For a long time. I don't think they are friends anymore. I'm not interested in dating the former best friend of some one I have already dated, it would make me feel uncomfortable.
