i was on the train.. it was around 8:00 pm. i looked normal. unrevealing clothes. i am thin and i have a very pretty, classic looking face. i am very natural. no highlights, no trashy make up. porcelain skin. dark brown hair. big brown eyes. i am 19 years old.

there was this guy on the train (looked like in his 20s). he was sitting a few aisles away. i noticed him staring at me the whole train ride. i did not make eye contact with him because i was not interested. his stop was before mine. he passed me to get off the train and casually dropped a piece of paper on my seat without even looking at me. it said.. "you are super pretty. here is my number. call me if you are interested and i will tell you my name".

i never called him obviously. why did he not hit on me in person? also, why didn't he tell me his first name in the note?

i never get hit on, and i always assumed it was because i am too naturally pretty and my looks or my unrevealing clothes do not scream that i want attention. i look like elizabeth taylor/audrey hepburn.

seems like he may have been shy, the name thing is to get you to call/text him so you can find out - adds mystery and intrigue apparently. But no, not really normal, a little odd..

Nope it's not the typical way someone would hit on another person.
