He said it felt good and he was beginning to loosen up. Did he mean that it was loosening him up to where he was wanting to have sex with me (because that is what I was wanting)?

I don't think that's what he meant. When you massage someone, they begin to feel more relaxed=loosen up. He was probably nervous or not fully himself around you and the massage made him more comfortable. Don't think you need to read too much into this. If he wanted sex, he would have tried.

Now that you mention it he did seem to be nervous which he wasn't the first time we went out. I guess that I will have to try that again with massaging his shoulders to loosen him.
