Author kaylan Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 Hey I love men of all colors what can I say...plus my mom is kinda racist and Ive always been rebellious Uh oh...dont say youre rebellious. Lord knows a white dude will get pissed off if you rebel by screwing a minority boy lol. They love using that as a reason for why any white woman goes after non-white guys. However, if you really wanna piss off mom, PM me. trololol 1

Author kaylan Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 EHhh I can come up with comments all day but Id end up derailing every thread so I try to be serious. Kaylan do you try black girls??? Of course Im open to dating my own women. They are just pretty outnumbered where I live, and vastly outnumbered when I go do my hobby stuff, or the places I normally hangout.

Turned out she was a lesbian. 1
MrCastle Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I thought you only dated models pretty boy? lol I date a pretty face. Typically girls with pretty faces either model or want to model lol. I don't have Heidi Klum on speed dial or anything like that. What I mean by model is I value an attractive face over any other physical element. Kimmy's face meets that mark

They are just pretty outnumbered where I live, and vastly outnumbered when I go do my hobby stuff, or the places I normally hangout. I have some black female friends. They go on and on and on about black men dating non-black women. Where do you live that you don't see many black women?
PhillyDude Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Latino men tend to be more sensual in bed...I like to think blacks would too while being hung like Donkey Kong...I drank wine 'scuse me That's how I feel about Latina woman
iKING Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 That's how I feel about Latina woman Some latina women can get pretty cray cray in bed.
PhillyDude Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Some latina women can get pretty cray cray in bed. They can't what?
iKING Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 They can't what? They can get pretty crazy with their sexuality. The ones I dated were into some out of the ordinary type stuff. 1

MrCastle Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 So have we moved on from the theory that me and kaylan are tunnel dwelling trolls and that's our success online is laughable? 2
iKING Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 So have we moved on from the theory that me and kaylan are tunnel dwelling trolls and that's our success online is laughable? You know I agree with you. The experiences I've had with OLD were seriously mediocre, but I've done fine in real life. Being a cave dwelling troll might be fun for a little while though. 2
MrCastle Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 You know I agree with you. The experiences I've had with OLD were seriously mediocre, but I've done fine in real life. Being a cave dwelling troll might be fun for a little while though. It's a very simple concept as I explained. I'm trying to say this without coming across as an egomaniac or bragging. I do well. When I say well, I mean I'm successful in both quality and quantity. Multiple women that are objectively attractive. Women that most men would find attractive. So, naturally, those are the same women I go for on OLD. Why would I drop my standards, physically or otherwise, just because I'm online? I don't raise or lower my standards. I go after girls that I could get in real life. Couldn't it be that those girls have a very large group of men to choose from? If I'm competing with 4 guys in class, that's a lot easier than 100+ men online. So 1.) she may not even see my message or 2.) is going for the top tier guys, which I can't fault her for doing. So where does that leave guys like me? On the outside looking in. And I've already said, race definitely plays a factor. I've never had a white woman send the first message to me in OLD. Only blacks and hispanics. Height also plays a role, as I said, most profiles I've visited have women stating specifically they want a tall man. I want to be clear though that these things only hurt you in OLD and I am far from one of those whiney guys who thinks these things are death sentences. One of my last girls was an irish girl, pale skin, 5'10. Of course though, I met her through my social circle. Not OLD. Point is, yes, things like height, race, income, etc are going to play a role because that's all they have to judge you by online.
Object_a Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 (edited) I'm a guy and OLD is working out just great for me. But then, I think it's fair to say that I use the site I'm on very differently to most guys. Of course OLD doesn't work for guys if all they do is carpet-bomb every woman in town with the same standard message! Those guys just mess it up for everyone, women and men. If you put a bit of time and consideration into finding compatible people (and that includes being realistic about your attractiveness) and send them thoughtful messages that show you are interested in them as a person, you will get a great response. Also, guys, seriously, you need to learn how to write your profiles. I get loads of unsolicited messages from woman even though I'm not that good looking, because my profile is interesting and gives them a reason to start a conversation. The truth is, if you're not model material you need to be attractive in other ways, and I put a lot of effort into making sure my profile demonstrates that. All this stuff about height or whatever is just numbers. Really. It might be a cultural thing in the USA that I just don't get, but where I live, I've honestly never met anyone who cares about this stuff. Maybe if you're looking for hook-ups it's a problem but otherwise, you're just making excuses. Edited March 16, 2013 by Object_a
JMCOSU838 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Sure. Im entitled to a guy who has a 6 figure salary...all is fair in love and war I have a seven figure salary. I make 28,283.92 per year. When can we hook up? 2
phineas Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I found the profile of an old college friend of mine on POF and decided to message her just to say whats up. Its her first time using online dating and I was surprised when she told me she cant keep up with the messages. No offense to her, but in my view shes a 5...maybe a 6 at best. Thats if I had to use the number system. If I had to articulate it, Id say that I wouldnt sleep with her even if I was tipsy. Shes a great gal, but not someone I find attractive. That being said, it appears people are right when saying a girl can be super plain or not all that attractive and get loads of attention online. Its amazing how OLD turns the dating world on its head. Seems guys just message any girl. Christ...if dudes actually showed some selective-ness itd solve the problem most of them have with OLD. At least she responded to you. LOL! I occasionally see someone I know on OLD that I hadn't seen in a while or work with or have on my Facebook just to say "hi" & they don't even respond or look at my profile. But they will like something I post on Facebook or talk to me at work. lulwat? Do they just not recognize me because of the context? The amount of weight i've lost since i'd last saw them? Do they fear i'm interested? Or are the just embarrassed to be on OLD and decided it best to just pretend it didn't happen? LOL!
JMCOSU838 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I've been doing the online dating thing for about a month now and I've had some success so far. I've probably sent messages to about 50 - 75 women and I've managed to arrange meetings with 3 of them. I do have to agree with Fortyninethousand322 though. It does seem like there are inconsistencies between what women say they experience and what men say they experience. One of my first posts on this website was a link to my OKC profile. Most of the people who responded gave me positive feedback and said that I had a well written profile. Despite that, I still get a lot of unanswered messages from people on OKC. Does that mean my profile isn't as well written as the people on here think? Does it mean that all the women I'm sending messages to have unrealistic expectations? Are the messages I'm sending just not that interesting? I have no idea. My experience leads me to believe that online dating is fine and it can work to some degree, but you have to be persistent and you also can't rely on it solely to meet people.
Object_a Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I've been doing the online dating thing for about a month now and I've had some success so far. I've probably sent messages to about 50 - 75 women and I've managed to arrange meetings with 3 of them. That's two or three messages a day. How do you even find the time to write all those? You might disagree but I think that's way, way too many. I only send two or three message a week. Quality over quantity dude! It seems to work for me anyway since I've not had a week go by for the last two or three months where I didn't get at least one reply, even if it didn't end up going anywhere. I've had dates nearly every week too. Just out of interest, how long are your messages, and what is your usual approach? I mean do you just straight ask people out or do you try to get them talking first?
