Put Your Number In My Phone?

So I mentioned this in another thread last night but I'll say it here--think I've reached a point where I need to be more aggressive in cold approaching. My social circle is stagnant right now, and due to some recent events, I've cut more people (See: 'women') out of it than I've let in. I also don't do OLD so that really leaves cold approaching as my option.

Of course, we don't know how many rejections were cut out of the video, nor do we know how many women put their real numbers in it. We do know though, that there were some women who took the time to put numbers into a stranger's phone, simply because he asked.

 

I read a post on a PUA forum where a man tried the same thing as the man in the video, and also got some numbers.

 

My question is, would you actually respond to this? Would you put your actual number in a guy's phone just because he walked up to you and asked you? Is it just out of the sheer boldness that you'd feel he earned it? Or would you put a fake number in and continue on your way?

If so I'd laugh and say no. If it's the conclusion to a nice conversation then yes. I would and I have. But generally speaking when guys get my number from a cold approach they hardly ever call. So I guess that's part two.

Interesting, and you're pretty easy going, to say the least.

 

Apparently they have a video that shows all the rejections. I haven't watched it but I assume there are many.

 

I'm very interested in giving this a go.

 

My theory is, it's better than chatting for 10 minutes and asking for the number only to get an excuse. This is much more efficient. But I don't know.

True. But in my older approaches, I would use a sniper rifle. Select women to the best of my ability that appeared to have signs of interest.

 

This is a shotgun approach. This is walking up to any cute girl you see and asking for numbers.

 

Of course the same pitfalls apply, getting rejected, maybe she has a possible boyfriend, etc etc. But I'm still considering doing it, if for nothing else, the experience to say I did it.

Here the rejections which quite honestly, don't seem bad at all. Most of the women laughed

 

I think the key here if I am to do this is to have fun with it. The focus should be to enjoy myself and laugh at the responses even if I'm turned down.

 

I think men fear rejection not just because a woman said no but because they think the woman is going to yell and cause a scene and whatnot. The woman doesn't want a scene just like you don't want a scene.

 

I think even if they turn me down I'd try to laugh it off or make some sort of joke.

 

The key here is to have fun. More about the experience itself and less about how many numbers I actually get.

Besides, as extreme as the video is, I think a lot of guys would benefit from the bravery.

I bet if I asked them if they'd sleep with a guy the same day as meeting him they'd say no as well but as we all know, it happens.

 

Hell, I'm sure even the girls who gave their numbers in the video would have said no if they were asked if they'd do it a day before they actually did it.

No. Can't imagine I would. I'd smile, say no, and keep walking. Same way I'd treat panhandlers of any kind.

 

He's looking away to not appear too aggressive... like you do with dogs. The idea is to put your hand out to pet them and not look them in the eye.

 

I imagine the only women who would agree to put their real number in, answer it when you called, and go on an actual date would be ones who are weak, like to be told what to do, and have poor boundaries. Probably works for picking up marginally sane women who you can easily f*ck. If that is your demographic, then go for it.
