Green Light Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 OK, so I'm currently travelling and I'm in the hotel. A while ago I went down to the pool and I was all alone there as it was late. Then this nice looking German woman, late 30s or so, came into the pool and we got to talking and by the end I could tell that she was waiting for me to ask her to my room. But I couldn't. I don't think I'm cut out for this ONS thing with strangers. I am just too mistrusting of people. Plus she said she was married. So my conscious was processing that. I don't know. Maybe she was a scammer. She kept asking me questions. She was just so interested in everything I had to say. Somebody tell me that I did the right thing because I'm laying here alone in the Marriot feeling awful!
skweezd Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 You did the right thing. Don't second guess your initial gut feeling. Plus did you read about the weather man from Fox News that got completely scammed and drugged and robbed by two flirtatious Russian women while on vacation in Florida? They ruined him. Consider yourself smarter then that. 1
MsSmurf Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Or maybe she was just being friendly and would have been offended if you invited her to your room. I do not think there is anything wrong with not going for a ONS if it isn't what you want or because you got a weird vibe. Just because it works for others does not mean you should be doing it too.

Think about it for a second, would you want a strange guy taking your wife to a hotel room with him. Put yourself in her husbands shoes. How would you feel? Not too good if you found out. 1
Barnacle-Bob Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 The first sign of trouble was that she was German.

This woman asked all kinds of questions but when I asked her questions she didn't seem to answer clearly. She had such a thick accent it was tough to hear her.

Yeah, my conscious was telling me NO but you know what else was saying YES!

She may just be friendly. She said she can't believe how friendly Americans are. I said "really? because I think we are miserable."
Author Green Light Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 The first sign of trouble was that she was German. She was Thai but raised in Holland and now living in Germany. So she wasn't technically German.
Lani Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I think she was definitely out to harvest your organs...
neveragain34 Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 If she was a scammer, she would have invited herself to your room or seduced her way in. You probably could have gotten some tonight without being killed after, but she's married so you did the right thing.
