Yes we can get into our occasional fights like every other couple, but we hardly fight. Its mostly about issues that we work out. But why does my family keep saying my girlfriend sucks and is no good for me? They say because shes not a fast paced mover and is going at the relationship at her own pace that shes a bad fit for me. I explain to them that I can make my own decisions in my life and that my girlfriend is perfect for me. I don't know why my family is being stupid about this. If I want to grow up and get rid of my toys then I should have the right to do so. My family doesn't want me to seem grown up and they want to keep me as a little kid forever. My family hates that I am changing for the better. How do I convince them that she is good for me? I always defend her and say shes awesome and great and that they should give her a chance. I don't bad mouth my girlfriend to my family or friends so why dont they like her!! Edited March 13, 2013 by Driftking102
