Eggplant Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 A guy invited me for a 2nd date to make pie for pi day for our offices (each of our companies is having a "pi" day). It sounds fun, and he seems safe and trustworthy. The date would involve us being alone in one of our kitchens. I know where he works, and my intuition tells me this is safe. But I asked my dad what he thought. His response was that maybe I should avoid the date because I'm not very good at baking. Men, would you reject a girl because she couldn't roll dough or something? Should I be making practice pies??
Lani Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Firstly, do it at your house so if something does go wrong (which I highly doubt) you will have the upper hand. Secondly- just tell him you're not great at baking, and he'll have to help you out. Make a joke of it. Don't pretend you're a pie extraordinaire, then totally flop in front of him. What is 'pi' day? 1
iKING Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 It sounds fun, I'd say go for it. No your lack of pie-making skills won't be held against you, it could even come off as being rather cute and prompt him to give you a hand.
MrCastle Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Of course he's safe and trustworthy. He celebrates "Pi Day" 7
iKING Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Of course he's safe and trustworthy. He celebrates "Pi Day" It doesn't get much more non-threatening then that. 1
MrCastle Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Anyways; to answer your question, I wouldn't care if she could bake or not. I actually can, I do it for the holidays; although it is manly baking. I don't wear an apron. Or oven mitts. Ok maybe I wear the mitts. Part of the fun would be tickling her while she was mixing ingredients or giving her ass a squeeze as she bent down to put the tray in the oven. I couldn't care less how the pie tasted at that time.
iKING Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 What is pi day?!!? I'm assuming It's the celebration of the discovery of Pi.
Lani Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I'm assuming It's the celebration of the discovery of Pi. It is... I googled it after nobody told me. Lets celebrate mathematics!
Author Eggplant Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 Pi day is March 14th because 3.14 is the number pi. Both our companies have people bringing in pies.
AMusing Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I love pi day! It's a sweet silly "holiday." I've celebrated it for years. It also happens to fall on the same day as Steak & BJ day--combined, it makes for one hell of a good day! Anyway, that sounds like a lovely second date. I also would recommend telling him you don't know how to bake, and following his lead. I'd do it as his house; it seems reassuring to know you can leave at any time. Another trick to pie crust using using vodka as a replacement for some of the water. The crust will turn out extra flaky and yummy. 1

AMusing Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Can you elaborate more on this holiday? Really? I'm surprised you haven't heard of it! It's a fun-spirited "male equivalent" of Valentine's day. Scheduled a month afterwards, it gives the ladies a chance to show their man some appreciation. The more effort he puts into V-day, the more effort she'll put into S&BJ Day. The idea is beautiful in its simplicity, since its name says it all: cook your man a big juicy steak (or take him to a steakhouse if cooking isn't your thing), and follow it up by an enthusiastic blow job. Women (should) love it, because it encourages a man not to forget V-day. Men (should) love it, because... well.... what's not to love? Especially in my house, since there is pie for dessert. AMusing Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 It's fun, right? And from a woman's standpoint, it's as easy as you can get. It's funny to compare atmospheres at restaurants over those two days. I've found restaurants on V-day to be a bit stiff, awkward. It's completely opposite at a steakhouse on March 14; there are a lot of knowing nods and laughter. A much more fun holiday if you ask me. 2
Djz05 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Telling him upfront you're not a great baker but willing to try seems adorable. Go for it and have fun. On a different note: I know in japan there's white day which is when guys reciprocate gifts they got on valentines (girls give chocolate to guys on vday). But steak and bjday? Now thats a whole lot better
