i doubt it could be a marriage proposal, it is way to CLICHE to give you a hint of not to say NO.

could be a surprise mini getaway, or promising ring? or could be moving in arrangements?

We sound like a bunch of girls gossiping.

Report back with what it is OP! Now I really want to know.

Or maybe a crazy adrenaline rush filled day. A mad rush to the airport in an exotic car beating redlights, flying off to go Skydiving off a plane right into the ocean, with some diving equipment to go scuba diving with sharks without a safety cage, swimming all the way to a secluded beach for a nice seaside dinner, and oh whats that? Is that a ring on your champagne glass??

But i jest

Best way to put it, dont expect anything. Then it will be a surprise (a good one i hope).

-it's something I'm going to want to post on Facebook

Well, it could still be anal, (depending on how public you make things on FB) but let's hope not.

*Status update*

"Tried anal for the first time and it hurt like all get out! I don't know if I'll be able to walk straight for a week.. Just thought you would all want to know, including you, grandma!"

Sounds like a proposal (or promise ring?), maybe a puppy, or something really exciting (sky-diving or something like that) judging by her list.

I'd just laugh if we all completely missed it and It's something really random.

Sounds like he's moving in or proposing

My guess it that it's all completely random.

To some guys, it's about something he might think is exciting or that he thinks she might find exciting.

My husband got me totally hyped for my birthday the year before last.

I thought maybe he was asking to renew vows, take me away for a weekend or finally on the real honeymoon he promised 8 years ago. Or finally get me a wedding ring.

What was it, a Quinoa Cookbook that I had wanted.

Truth be told, there's some pretty good stuff in there.

And he was watching my reaction so close too. LOL.

At first I thought he was joking. But I didn't dare say anything....

You guys have only been together 9 months, you don't live together, and you just recently confirmed you have old one another's parents about the other... I seriously doubt a proposal.

Sorry OP.

How old are you guys?

In our 20's

I wasn't clear. We've met each other's family and friends. We spend a lot of time with each other's families. He was just asking if my parents ever talk to me about him.

Promise me you won't say no? It is like the opening line to an episode of SVU.

I prefer this one:

"Promise me you won't scream.":lmao:

Yeah we are crazy.

I don't think that because you haven't Moved in with a guy means anything. I don't think you should judge others relationships either. Just focus on you.

Hmph......

I was going to actually highlight that, myself.

It's nice to see someone looking out for the little people.

Here's a like, SG.

I'm not!

If it is a proposal then it will be even more exciting.

But I know the feeling when you build yourself up about something do monumental.

I still think its a puppy!

Lol

If it's a puppy, pictures will be required.

OP you have half of LS vested in the outcome of this.

Probably taking you somewhere. Either someplace far away or to do something that will take a long time and can't be fit in easily after school.

Well, he told me what it was last night, so I could use today to get ready for it.

He's taking me out to a nice restaurant (he's wearing a suit and I'll wear a nice dress)

Then we're going to go slow dancing at some place (if we can find one, which I don't think there is one around here)

So..yeah. I'm glad he told me. Or else after dinner I'd have been like, "ok so what's the surprise???!" lol

I'm still not sure why he said the whole "promise me you won't say no" thing. I don't get that. One of the other hints he told me is it's something I've been wanting to do (the dress up dinner is) so I don't understand why I'd say no.

Not that this isn't nice or anything, just one of the other Love Coupons is a dress-up dinner at the restaurant of my choosing. So I wasn't expecting this would be the same thing.

And also I wasn't expecting it to be something like that, because when I was asking for hints, I asked how big of a deal it was, on a scale of 1-10, and he said "9 maybe even a 10" and I said, " I doubt it's a 10. There's only one thing that could be a 10, and I doubt this is it."

He of course asked what it was, and guessed a proposal? I said yes. Even after saying that he still insisted it was maybe a 10.

He was like, "It's not that, but what would you say if I did propose on Thursday?" I just said "I'll let you know when you ask" and I smiled. He then said, I bet you would say yes. He then says "But don't worry, I'm no where near close to proposing."

Which, after him just saying "I bet you'd say yes" I thought was a really unnecessary comment and it kind of made me sad. I told him I knew it wasn't that, so it's not like I was expecting it and he needed to tell me it wasn't. Twice.

Anyways, thought I'd let y'all know
