I got a divorce and never knew anyone could make me this happy --so needless to say I want to get him something special for our big day. Does anyone have any good suggestions, you know out of the ordinary neat stuff. For Valentines day I got a professional photographer to take some sexy pictures of me and he loved them. I would love to get him something else special---PLEASE HELP, I only have a couple of days. I was thinking on the lines of something for the two of us---two massages, something sexy, I don't know just something great. Thanks for all your help--I love this board
Vie Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Hi Susan =) It's always hard to find gifts for guys lol.. I find myself having difficulties everytime I need to get my bf or my guy friends something. It's too bad that you only have a couple of days left before the big day, but this is what I did for our 1st anniversary. I actually wrote a story about us in this cute notebook. I decorated it, posted poems (I wrote some myself) and some of our pictures. One of the poems I liked the best was the one from Elizabeth Browning "How Do I Love Thee?".. I printed out the original version and then I wrote my own version "How Do I Love Thee.. Let Me Count the 50 Ways".. lol.. he absolutely loved it and brought tears to his eyes whenever he read the book. It took a lot of efforts (I ended up writing for about 35 pages lol.. but it's worth it Maybe you can try this next year Then I got him gothic silver ring engraved inside "Vie loves you".. it looks simple but it's meaningful. I'd say get him something engraved.. it's more personal and romantic. Good luck! and Congrats!!
