Hopeful30 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 ...you couldn't find anyone else to date? I have some friends who have gotten back with their exes for this reason. They broke up for their own reasons, and when she was dating around and couldn't find anything good, she got sick of being single and not having anyone to do things with (romantic things) so she just got back with her ex. I have contemplated doing this as well, because there is nothing good out there (or at least nothing good that I have had the luck to encounter) so in a world where girls are catty and where it's so much easier to get along with men, I noticed that a lot of women just get back with their exes just so they have companionship and someone to spend time with. I'm wondering if any of you have done the same? Or know anyone who does this? No harsh comments please, I know it's not right. I'm just curious how many out there have done this. And please state if you're a guy or a girl. I want to see if there is a difference or if it's just women who do this. Thanks!
Soxfaninfl Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) I will be honest and that's me in my avatar. It has crossed my mind but they are my ex's for a reason. I am currently single. I do miss companionship and hate being alone. The only person I would get back with is my ex-wife. I do have a 9 year old son with her too which I miss when he's with her. The reason I haven't tried is because she left me, and she's with another guy. Plus, were not friends either since our relationship ended badly. Relationships aren't easy but people sometimes leave people because they think they can do better and then come to a harsh reality they had something great. Edited March 9, 2013 by Soxfaninfl
