TheBladeRunner Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I wasn't sure where to put this one, I thought about putting it in "Coping", but here it is. In process of divorce, I was the dumpee. I took financials to the lawyer and before I did I thumbed through to see if everything was there. I saw her credit card statement and could not help but notice the only charge was for a dating site. How do you think I took it?????? Well, I felt nothing! I wasn't mad, sad, or even hurt. I have begun to reach my goals of becoming indifferent! I am so proud of "me" today! I did wonder, what does that say about me though? I think it says I am doing a good job moving on. Funny thing was it was a membership for a sight that in order to be a member you need to be divorced, widowed, or single so that means she lied to get her profile up. Nothing like starting your next relationship based on a lie, eh? 4
Mr. Lucky Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 My ex did the same thing but, in retrospect, she did me the same favor yours is doing you. It's easier to get your ass out the door and back into the world when you know she's doing the same thing. No false hopes, no mirage of reconciliation, just your future to worry about.
