Ok well, we didn't just meet 3 weeks ago, we were mildly acquainted for a few months leading up to our eventual expression of interest in each other. When we first exchanged numbers, we were texting each other a lot, as in a text conversation would start in the morning and ending when we go to sleep, no more than 15 minutes in between each texts on average.

A day into it all I asked her on a date to which she accepted, but sadly we had to cancel the date because her grandpa got diagnosed with lung cancer just a couple hours prior to heading out, which is a buzzkill for her to say the least. We're planning on doing dinner tomorrow, but I notice she's not texting back much anymore the past few days, it's getting kind of worrying.

She was at work today, I'm used to her texting throughout her shift since she usually has nothing else to do, but I could believe she's been having a busy shift. The thing is, even after work, she's not responding sometimes. We were texting a fair bit today, but I got the impression she was busy so I held off until near the end of her shift. She got off at ten, I texted her then, it's now 11:07 with no reply. It's kind of annoying because I was texting her to confirm some of our plans for tomorrow.

I'm kind of worried, maybe it's just in my head, but maybe we waited too long to meet each other, perhaps she's lost interest.

Just take it easy...

Since you're going on a date, she's probably not feeling the need to text you so much because you can just talk when you see eachother.

Don't overthink it.

It is worrying though, I get nervous when people go quiet when we're approaching a meet in person. I know she approved of my plans weeks prior in our first attempt at the date. Still, I just felt it prudent to confirm the general time frame when we would start the date since we hadn't gone over that yet. I would expect an answer there before the end of the day, yet she's likely gone to bed by this point.
