Hi,

So, I am trying this OLD thing. Never had to before because I used to manage and bartend at a college bar. So, meeting and talking with girls was pretty easy. Pretty much my last 4 relationships were through girls I met while working.

Now, I am working in corporate America and find it difficult to meet women. As, I work a lot and don't really care for the nightclub scene and tend to like hole in the wall bars now.. Places that are quite where I can have a good convo with the bartender.

My question is how long is enough when talking on the phone with a woman I met online? We have msgd eachother a few times and exchanged phone numbers. I will be calling her tonight when I get back in town from work travel. I typically do not like talking on the phone, so I was thinking something short and sweet. Maybe 10 minutes. Just enough time to get a feeling for one another and to finalize where we will be meeting.

Any help would be much appreciated.

10 minutes would be fine, the more interaction you leave for the date itself, the better. It'll give you enough time to feel out the connection (if the conversation flows smoothly) but not too much to not leave anything to be desired on the date. It may act as a tease of sorts and build excitement for the date itself which would help kick things off.
