Two months after the break up, she left me in a very bad way (insulting, etc.)

YEsterday evening there was this party near my town and I wanted to go there. After a bit of indecision because I knew via facebook that my ex would have been there 100%, I went there with 2 friends of mine and I had the time of my life! I met tons of people, we had a lot of drinks and fun and it was really really cool. My ex saw me (probably she didn't expect me to be there) and even said 'hi' in the most embarassed way ever. I replied with a smile and went to talk to a group of girls :)

She was at the party with her new guy, who is 30 and really, really looked uncomfortable and out of place at a university party (more or less like me going to a party with my grandma, I suppose) and my ex was dragging him around the place. I have to say that I would have expect me to at least be a little sad, but I wasn't! We were in the smoking room and she was talking to her guy, caressing him, and I couldn't care less! I was talking with this girl friend of mine, laughing with my friend, all with class ;)

At the end of the evening, when I left my house to go to the party I thought 'let's hope I don't appear awkard'. When I was returning home, I realized that they were the awkard ones, especially her.

Two lessons, guys:

1) don't let her influence your behaviour and your life. If you want to go to a party, go there, even if she's there. You may have the best night of your life.

2) If you were a gentleman when you split (she offended you, not the opposite, etc), you will notice a lot of embarassement from her part when you meet again casually. I noticed that yesterday ;) good guys forever!

:)
