GoodOnPaper Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 That distance encompasses things such as actually liking a person; admiring them, respecting them, them reciprocating those things; being compatible, having good communication, shared values, "getting" each other, etc. That part's not so difficult. The hard part is linking this to physical attraction -- either on the front end, so you can get to exploring the compatibility, or at the back end where you are hoping that compatibility can generate the attraction and passion. I'm experiencing the latter and I've grown to believe that if you struggle to attract women in general, you might still be able to attract someone for an LTR or marriage but that attraction she feels is somehow different -- it's strong outside the bedroom but tame inside the bedroom. I've never figured how "real" it is.
