I know I was the DUMPER but it wasnt a breakup that was caused because of fighting or anything harsh, it was a thing that kind of just..happened. After we broke up she was being really nice but now she is insulting me behind my back and humiliating me in public when we are around each other (we have mainly the same friends) and it really hurts because I regret breaking up with her...and I expressed that to her about a week after the breakp. I really miss her and it hurts soooo bad when she does these things. Is this just a phase that the dumpee goes through after the breakup? Will she always be like this? She knows I still love her but It kind of just seems like a way to get attention..especially infront of all of friends.

Not being funny, just genuinely curious. Yes! I would love to be back with her and she knows that but all of a sudden she starts being extremely rude and just mean and I dont know why.
