arthus1 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 What do I say to a girl that I like? I never know what to say and I need help. How do I start and maintain a conversation with a girl? I'm not exactly a genius at getting girlfriends No jokes, I need serious advice please.

Do not forget the hi, how are you. Then introduce yourself, saying, "Oh, by the way, I am soso" Do not shake her hand as if you are an employee or business person, lol.. Then, maybe comment on where you work, it might open dialogue as to where she works, ask her how she likes that. Maybe make a joke about work... Women aren't that harsh, trust me. Oh my! You are from central florida?! Heh...Hm, that is awfully close!

But a woman on here could easily teach you and let you practice in this thread on what to say!! No, ah to be serious here: Talk about hobbies. Favorite type of movies. Maybe even a favorite dish. Nothing too big, nothing too bad. Maybe a favorite place of theres. Do not say, a favorite place of yours youd like to go...till you know them better... You know, anything will do really. As long as it isn't creepy or overly sexualized. Women mainly care if: you can hold a good conversation; appear somewhat confident. Maybe even slightly funny. Holding a good conversation is very important. It shows how well you can communicate, and that is a key to a relationship. 1

My communication skills are average but I've won a couple of dates nonetheless, it would be nice if I could practice with some girl.

US GIRLS LOVE TO TALK ABOUT OURSELVES We can have a one sided, one hour conversation about our favorite color* Simple questions: What is your favorite color? (If she's wearing said color, compliment her) What type of music do you listen to? ( listen & memorize her music style) What draws you to that style music? Do you have siblings? (How many? Older? Younger? Then answer in kind) Before night is over, Tell her your intentions. Ie; "I had a great time and would like to do this again. May I take you out next Friday/Saturday?" For second date, take your new found knowledge and incorporate it into your next date. She loves pink? Buy her tiger lilies. She loves country or jazz or whatever, then go to a restaraunt playing that music. Ever heard of dueling piano bars? Way fun! Good luck* 1

A lady should be complimented. And age isn't a thing of ugliness. I find beauty in such a wisdom. That is if, well, the person is wise in their age...I judge beauty differently then most others.
