mikeyv44 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 i'm having trouble getting over a girl, and i still want her back. we only were together for 6 months, but we had a great connection with each other. we never had a fight, and the only thing that caused us to break up was due to "bad timing". she was in a previous relationship before me for 5 years. the tool was verbally abusive to her, and cheated on her multiple times, and she told me that she never wanted to go back to him. however, about a month ago, he called her and they got in a fight that brought her to tears. she broke up with me the next day saying she needs time to work on herself. she says she wants to be friends, but won't contact me because she doesn't want to lead me on that we will get back together anytime soon. its been a month with a couple texts her and there, and 2 phone calls. for the most part i've been good with the no contact idea, but honestly i broke a few times. she always responds but i haven't physically seen her in close to a month. i still really miss her. any advice?
empirestate87 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 My advice is to move on to someone that will actually like you. I have feeling that she dumped you because she's not over this guy. So why waste you time with someone like that? Find someone who won't do that and leave her and her issues be. Have this mentality: She either chooses you or loses you.

She basically broke up with you after having an intense conversation with her ex. HER EX! Brother, leave her be and pursue other girls. Girls that will choose you!
