Snow_in_April Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 This guy messaged me on a dating site and we've been talking for about 2 weeks. He made plans with me last weekend but when I texted him to confirm plans he asked if next weekend would work. Then this past Friday he asked me to let him know if I was free on Saturday so we could hangout. I texted him at 7:30 am on Saturday and no response. I kinda kept the window open but after hearing nothing at 8 pm I sent him a text telling him I was just going to make other plans. He never responded. Here is where I am confused. The past 2 weeks he has been texting me everyday. He sent me pictures of himself making funny faces and just being goofy in general. He told me he wanted to kiss me and that he was attracted to me. He said he hadn't been on a date in like 8 months, that he was excited to meet me and that we were going to have a lot of fun together. I'm not completely naive and understand it might just be he liked someone else better, lost interest or whatever. I also think it was going to be a mostly sexual thing anyway. I just don't get why he'd text me for hours for 2 weeks and tell me all this bull**** just to bail the day we are suppose to hangout.

Sivok Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 He either chickened out or is seeing someone else. Either way, it seems like something is off about him - with online dating, that's a red flag as any to call it quits.
