picaso28 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Hi all, relatively inexperienced to dating been long time since did it properly.....anyway met girl online met for drink, agreed to second date. She likes country walks, meals, museums and musical shows. I was thinking of taking her to a nice country walk I know then meal after in daytime. Want to be able to have a laugh together. However she did say she fancies an evening date though....didn't say why. I don't really want to do bog standard meal and drinks though, want something that makes us naturally have a laugh, takes pressure of the date and basically something to impress her. Any ideas please???? Ladies, would you think tickets to a musical would be too over the top and full on? We have only met once and been chatting for a week or so. Please help I really like this one!
tk-421 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 If she prefers the evening date, by all means do something in the evening. Just my two cents.
Estate Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Here's what I sot of like doing on date 2 or 3. Another drinks or dinner date can seem boring if you've already talked a lot, conversation can run dry even for the most outgoing of people... I mean, you've spoken for hours... .. so yes, an activity date is great... there's lots to do though. My favourite is going to a comedy improv night in my town. It's improv so it's a different show every time, it's hilarious... I've never met anyone who didn't enjoy it and it gets you both laughing and something to chat about if you go for a drink or grab some food after. You dont have to go that exactly... but something fun, then grab a drink after, it makes the night fun. Sometimes do something silly or something you'd do as kids, go bowling and play arcade games, just make it fun. Makes you stand out too, you're not being lame like other guys.
tk-421 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Been doing some reading as I'm thinking of trying to set a date with a girl, and one of the suggestions I read and liked (and read a lot of places) was karaoke. I'm kind of shy, but I can't belt out a tune. It shows that you can relax and have some fun. Of course, you have to know if this is up her alley or not. Some people would die before they would get up there with a mic in their hand.
