I think they do it, because they anticipate seeing you again, and so the half-hearted rejection they've been making....there won't beany sour grapes.

Friend of mine has this issue with women, they even contact HIM to go out....then later cancel because they're "too tired" to do anything......later that night he spots their picture on Facebook out at some event (without him of course)....he even caught one in the act in PERSON at a venue, when she blew him off.

Iget a kick out of how they see you again and say, "OH, I'm sorry I MEANT to call you, but something came up".....let's try again next weekend, shall we? (Wash, rinse repeat)

And have the satisfaction of not even saying a word.

This thread is just nuts!

Just_A_Poster is spot on! Facebook is a younger generation thing, but thats even so far beyond the point right now....

OP.. she's not interested! But you seem to be making every excuse in your head to convince yourself she IS but something else out of your contol has stopped this happening... you're first thread on this was eye opening.

She's not interested! Leave her alone!

There are different ways to say NO. Probably the best way to do it is to say "no". But most women don't really do that.

Ask a fat guy eating a large pizza by himself complaining about being fat, when will he start trying to get in shape and he'll probably tell you, "next week". ;)

It's always next week, tomorrow or another time and a really good excuse why not now or why the appointed day/beginning was missed.

"No"= No

"Maybe"= No

"Yes"= Possibly No

"I'll give you my number later"= No

"I don't want to get involved with anyone right now"= You're ugly, go away

"I'm busy"= No

"I'll talk to you at the next group get together" = ........ that you are both a part of as well as other guys that she probably actually is interested in. She will then ignore you, hoping you'll just leave her alone.

People who play these kinds of games have personality disorders that you shouldn't want to get involved with. That's why you forget them and move on.

Actually, it is just the opposite. Impulsive behavior and low boundaries is usually a sign of personality disorders.

... and like I said in an earlier post... given the all too frequent tendency for men these days to expect sex within a few weeks of even a REQUEST for a date, much less getting a godd*mn date...

....I don't blame any woman for refusing to give out a number if she is still trying to assess whether the guy is someone she'd be interested in romantically. It isn't going to kill him to cool his heels and see her at another event or go on the hike.

Most of the guys advising the OP that she is 'playing games' fall into that category. The ones who think women are supposed to f*ck first and ask questions later...

Whatever.
