Why did he deny calling?

I recently gave my phone number to a man that I am interested in. I have been interested in him for a while.

Right after giving him my number, I started seeing on my caller ID that someone called anonymously around twice a day. Then last Monday, when I got back from work, I looked at my caller ID and noticed a number that I did not know. Suspecting that it could have been him, I decided to return the call.

I simply said to the person who answered the phone that I saw his number on my caller display and wondered if he had called....but the person denied it. But as we were talking, I recognized his voice....

He then never called back....Is there a reason why someone would deny calling if he did? I also don't understand why he had to block his phone number the previous times when he had called...(He is single and lives alone....)?

All advices are welcomed and thanks in advance!

First, you don't know for sure that the unavailbale was him. Maybe it was. In this case I would have to say, maybe he is afraid. Maybe he is not so good with this sort of thing. Give it time, or maybe you could call him and say hey lets go out. I don't know what else to tell ya. I would give it a try.. Maybe he's not the aggressive type and maybe you just need to give him a little push...

For your reply. I do beleive that you are probably right...He is in fact a very shy man. I may just have startled him when I called him back. Perhaps, he did not expect me to call him back...I will give him more time and wait.

Thanks for the great advice and have a great afternoon!
