Doomsday17 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I thought she loved me but on the day of our wedding she left me at the alter. Then she disappears for a week needing space when she finally returned she broke up with me. I tried to get her back for month to no luck during this time she had a friend of ours move her stuff out our apartment a week later I find out she is dating this guy. Once this happens I cut off all contact frOm her only to find out from mutual friend she had got engaged tO this guy and then married him on valentines day of all days. She tolde we couldn't get married bc she felt like god was stopping her n it was to much pressure but then she goes and marry this guy that we both met together less then six months ago. Iam devastated n can't stop thinking abt her trying to get closure n move on but at a lost as to what should I do now how can u marry someone so fast after walkin away from our wedding in less then 3 months

Your closure was the day she made vows to this man. You have to drop the rope. This will take some time. NO CONTACT, PERIOD. Date others, do things to make yourself happy. If she contacts you, keep it simple, and friendly, but do not contact her. Wish her the best of luck - that is what you would want for a woman that you love, right? I do not believe you have heard the last of her. But I would seriously consider reconciling with a runaway bride IF (and that is a BIG "if") the posibility ever came up again in the future. The most likely reason I say it would be an "if" is because you will have been smart enough to move on with your life and consider yourself lucky you did not get hitched to someone this unreliable. Good luck. Yas
