I liked the girl;however she says that she is not clear yet. She says that in this first meeting it didn't click for her, she couldn't see her life partner in me and she doesn't see this going in the positive direction. I asked her, what is she looking for in her life partner and she says that she wished if she could list what is she looking for, its not as simple as this. She has also cleared that its definitely not the looks and that she finds me good looking and well behaved. Question: She is happy to meet me again, to see how it goes only If this is okay with me because she is concerned that she shouldn't end up disappointing me. What should I do ? Should I meet her ? . If yes, what can I do to get things clear and make her like me as a life partner. If its not the looks and behavior what else do girls look for ?

I don't see my husband in you . what do women see for in a husband ? This is weird, She says she finds me good looking, well behaved, nice personality but doesn't see her husband in me.. ???

todreaminblue Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 staying power .....endurance, compassionate , kind ,loving honest trust worthy, nice smile, good with kids meaning actively interested in kids , not just saying yeah they are cool, can we go now.....not into keeping up with the joneses aka goes brand names and price.....there has to be a mutual connection for me...values ideals even dreams and having faith i guess......when times get rough gives you hope to endure and rise above so yes faith...i rely on it and i think that if a guy didnt share this view it woudl eb a hard slog....it would be nice to have discussions and share faith..non drinker and no drugs............deb
ChessPieceFace Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Is it really good to be talking about marriage / life partners on the first date? If a girl said that to me on a first date I'd think she was just desperate to get married to someone, rather than valuing / getting to know me as a person.
