Yasuandio Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Like I said, see who's she's texting so much. Get into her phone!! If you really want to know... I think Woogle could have really nailed it. Pride. Call cell phone provider, and request text and phone records for the past six months, at least. Be explicit - explain that you wish to receive the written text messages that came in and went out on the phone number. If the phones are in your name, it is a breeze. Have them sent to your work address. It might be around perhaps $10-20 per month. Totally worth it. It was $10 for me per bill, for just the cell numbers. So YMMV. If for some reason you cannot the above - there is a method to retrieve the deleted text messages and all other deleted data from the phone. Pay off some geeky sales guy or tech guy at the cell phone store to help you pull it off (tell a tech girl your sob story). Pick a really busy day for you wife. While she is showering in the morning, steal her phone so she thinks she lost or misplaced it - and take off in the car - boom, gone. Then know in advance where you will take the phone to have the data downloaded. Let her mysteriously find her phone under the seat of the car later that evening. Act like a dumb shyt. Huh? Yas
Author DarknessFalls Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Woogle seems to be close to the mark if I know my wife. She seems to want to want to be independent, and makes all the 'marriage' rules to suit herself, but is completely dependent on me and the security I bring. I'm gonna keep all possibilities open and see what I can do about the phone situation. She listens to Pandora in the shower. So yet again, another way to keep her phone on her. Plus she has a pass code on the phone as far as I know.

In other words she acts more like a rebellious teenager than an adult woman.
Author DarknessFalls Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Woogle. I'll have to say you have just hit it on the head again. Very immature for bring in her 40's. maybe that's a bigger problem than I imagined. I've always just accepted that about her as being her personality over the past 13 years
Author DarknessFalls Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 I just got an FB message stating that my wife was sending revealing photos and talking about (wanting to) have sex with other men. This came from a wife of the husband receiving the pics from my wife. She was sending them via FB, text, email and Words for Friends chat! How timely I should get this info now. Problem is that the woman who contacted me doesn't have the pics to send me because they were deleted by her husband. So it's now just here-say. She will deny it all. So I have no leg to stand on. Remember, her phone is one her person 24/7 and is pass code protected, and she has changed her email passwords. I am screwed here. I'm also furious for obvious reasons, but also bc I can't do a thing about it.
TailSpin75 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Darkness - you seem to know enough to proceed with the divorce. Can there be an advantage to tangible evidence? I had suspicions about what my STBX was up to - and I found some heart breaking information in the phone records. We had numerous discussion, and I recall telling her that I deserved to know the truth after 17 years of marriage. I'm not convinced I heard the truth - but now, 3 months since the divorce train left the station - I don't want to know. Only brings more pain.
Author DarknessFalls Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 I suppose asking for the divorce isn't the real problem. Convincing her to leave will be a bigger issue I guess. Was just hoping for something tangible to show her, to make her want to leave. If I had the pics to show, it would be a slam dunk
TobyBoy Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Well at least now you know why the 180 from your wife. She got busted!! I would go up to her and casually ask her if she knows OM wife, because she has something to "show me". Maybe the fear of this "bluff" will make her confess. Doubt it, but worth a try. Sorry about the betrayal.
Author DarknessFalls Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 @ TobyBoy-yeah I'll have to consider that. It's hard to believe I trusted her this whole time. Live and learn
carhill Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Convincing her to leave will be a bigger issue I guess You'll have to do something that goes against every fiber in your body. Care less than she does. That means insulating yourself against her anger and just push forward with your agenda. Document, document, document. You still have time to file today. Have her served at work. Watch 'War of the Roses'. Don't eat the pate.
Author DarknessFalls Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 @John Stiles Lmao. If you are referring to the book called "That Bitch: Protect Yourself Against Women With Malicious Intent" by Roy Sheppard...it's sold out! Made me smile though. @ carhill I've been doing that already.
Author DarknessFalls Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Well John Stiles, would it be better if I become depressed and withdrawn from my kids and job while contemplating suicide?! I'm realistic and am doing what's necessary to keep my head level. If I were cheerful and happy I wouldn't be here seeking advice from others for divorce. I'm taking every bit of this situation seriously, so please don't judge me. I've had 13 years of that already. And the small bit of levity was due to discovering that the book you recommended was sold out, like I should be surprised by this.
