gravi1 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 How much money would I make if I had pills that could instantly reset the part of ones' mind that just cant get rid of thoughts of exes, I would be extremely rich, I read somewhere that more people cheat these days. Anyhow I realy wish I had a pill that could reset my mind to forget my ex. The reality is just not atractive, people going 5 months and still suffering. I never could imagine in my life that this lady would hit me so hard and low. Why do I still long for her. I sometimes wake up and feel brave, like I can face the day only to see someone in a dress similar to ones she has and that dark feeling comes back extreme sadness, it could be a woman laughing somewhere or anything. I realy want this to be over and soon

This ^^ ... I have had some painful experiences for sure, but I've learned from them, and hopefully will have a better future because of it. So, no I wouldn't take the pill. Your pain will pass eventually.. for sure! - don't worry about that. 1
Author gravi1 Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 The pill remains for the pain, and we keep the memories, Its just sad that one has to work through this day by day for months, I realy do hope I can manage. Right now I am trying to deal with the fact that she no longer texts to plead and declare love and that it wont happen again. It gave me some form of motivation to ignore her. I know its not the basis for which I ignore her but since she stoped I feel that she also decided to let go, and it feels like reality of no getting back together hope is sinkin in which is very painfull.
moomin Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I honestly believe that they should teach people how to recover from a broken heart, especially if your supposed to be the macho male. The harsh reality is it hurts like **** and it messes with your head and you play out all stupid what if scenarios. As for time dont think this is months or years, I honestly believe this will be with you for the rest of your life - but its not to be seen as bad. Eventually with time and please take it, you will move on. There is a way to act when you have been dumped and the only way is to put yourself back in control. Allow grieving time if you need it, cry if you have understanding people talk to them. Just remember this, only you are hurting, no one else is, they have moved on - you have the power to stop. If you can, train, train hard, remember things that you wanted to do before hand and do - Dont waste your life on drink / drugs as this really doesnt help. Dont turn to crime as you may think you have nothing to live for but trust me, I have had amazing relationships after my killer blow and I mean amazing and one dumped me and she helped me get over my ex and I have nothing but love in my heart for her but in a nice way. I am married with kid and have more than I ever expected from Love and more. I allowed myself to enjoy the ride that life gives you. I also had time to realise I was in love with love and how she made me feel as compared to my other relationships well she had lots of flaws. I still think of her now and again but to be honest I get a cuddle from my kid and nothing and I mean nothing or noone can compare to that love. Be brave, be stronger for the experience and if you are really brave and want to watch an awful film to help you let go watch 500 days of summer, have a good cry and then realise what he is trying to say but see her side too. 1
