No idea. Never been in one.

Stuff like contact, dating, getaways, contact with others, outings alone, etc, etc.

the expectations i go into a relationship are

to be willing to work at it]

to be honest with what i want and feel

to be respected

to not chuck it in when things happen, to work through them

to have the same expectations returned.....

honesty trust respect compromise....then everything else is a cinch..you

can deal with any issues or plans as they arise with those mutual qualities......if you have those expectations...i would expect the guy to want to be in a relationship with me vice versa.....thats number one

Well, for me to be happy/reasonably content/feel secure, I need the following:

1) to be contacted every day, a few times a day (doesn't have to be a phone call though; I'm good w/ a few texts sprinkled throughout the day)

2) to see the guy a few times a week. Three's good (at least)

3) for him to act in love with me.

4) for him to be in love with me.

5) I don't know.

6) I just need to feel good.

My question is especially on 1:

To be contacted means he has to initiate contact or respond to it?

Well, I'd try to be equal -- or close to it -- about who initiates. But if I text him, and he texts back within a reasonable time frame and is nice/receptive to my having texted him, I'd certainly count it as a contact!

should be a joint want.....in my opinion

yes but what usually happens IMO, is that each person wants to be more secure and that security gets reached only if the other person is investing more into the relationship.
