Strangly enough this was something i worried about with breaking up with my ex. i invested almost all my free time with them. so to go from being occupied to being left with free time it caused me some anxiety. id feel lonely even thinking about but as my no contact days progress im feeling positive about the free time i have and things i can do that maybe i couldnt as much before. i think its a great step forward to think this way. to use the change that a BU can bring and put a positive spin on it. here are a few of things im doing to keep busy. What are yours or will be yours?

 

- getting more sleep and feeling rested

- watching tv programs/movies i never had time to before

-spending more time with friends i lost touch with

-going to the gym more

-enrolled in a curling team

just a few. its helped me take the focus off of empty time which used to scare me and is keeping my mind busy as well.

Traveling more? Perhaps to hot spots like Cali or NY?

Ive decided on the traveling too. my ex didnt want to travel so we went nowhere not even small getaways. so ive decided to take a long weekend and get away to a cabin with a couple friends. Should be fun!
