OneNote Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Please talk me out of checking my ex's twitter account... i'm having a strong urge to look.
Sososad Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Wanna feel miserable and knock your self back a few steps go right ahead !! Go for run do something just don't snoop ! Never helps !
BarbecueMan666 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Hmm, got a pretty serious question I guess about "progress and healing" within regards to checking the ex's stuff out. Do you really think it halts progress checking? - I know it hurts when I see new pictures, but does it hinder the progress itself of getting over them?

Well if it "hurts" to see new pictures and the purpose of no contact is for you to "heal" then ofcorse it will hinder getting over them. When you are fully healed and over them is when and only when looking at such things will have no negative effects on you
BarbecueMan666 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I understand what you're saying, almost to the point I feel silly for even thinking about arguments against. I'm 7 weeks post breakup, looking at pictures of my ex hurts but it's not the same hurt I experienced a while ago. - Before it was the agonizing, heart sinking kind of pain, and could ruin my day. Now I experience the "glad she's doing alright" or "hmm, shame things didn't work out". I see pictures of her, and I don't quite see the same girl as I did before, it's not a positive feeling so to speak, hence the hurt - but I don't see the super gorgeous girl whom I knew before if that makes sense? - Still very attractive, and can still blow my mind, but not the same some how.
