My stupid phone accidentally called him!!!!!

My phone is very touchy, and I was scrolling through my call log and before I knew it it was pressed somehow and then I was madly trying to stop it calling and then I couldn't and had to just turn the whole phone off!!!

Probably he was about to answer and he probably thinks I deliberately hung up on him, but I didn't hear anything just it ringing while I was madly trying to turn it off

Here I was doing so well and now he is going to think I tried to call him!!!

Damn!!!

He may attempt to call back. Probably won't believe the accidental dial.

I was going to text and say it was accidental but that might make it seem more unbelievable

It was accidental and I froze in panic forgetting how to turn it off, and I kept pressing and pressing and it wouldn't stop ringing. Just hope I didn't hang up in him answering

Here's a novel idea.

Delete.

His.

Phukking.

NUMBER......?!

You know - we ALL know - what an utter jerk he is, and how ridiculous your attachment to him is - you and geegirl talked about this, right....?

I suggest you now take the bull by the horns and push him forcefully OFF your radar!!

Delete and block and get rid of every and any possible means of contact with him....

He may well return, he's a flake - flakes do that - but for now, at least, get rid of this appendage....!

True my ex's number is under do not call this person ever. It's a powerful thing to read. I have deleted all texts. Cant scroll through the thousands of texts we sent each other, it would only be like trying to solve a huge puzzle.

That's the thing, I did delete his number, and had just entered it manually when I called him the other day. So I had called the manually entered number, not him as a contact

Agreed with Tara,

Why is his number still on your phone?

Numbers & old text = delete , delete and delete.

If you keep running into his number and old texts, you're never going to move on.

If you dialed his number manually, clear your history after. I had to do that once before.

Because I had already deleted him as a contact I didn't consider the fact that his number was technically still in my phone

I am just kicking myself because now he will think I called him deliberately

Don't worry about it.

Now - Block him.

If he rings you, he won't get a response.

If he texts you, just send back <*his number*> Text blocker is activated

If he tries to email you or contact you at work, just tell him, "Yeah, I just thought I'd call you to let you know I'm going No Contact, but then I figured, well, if I'm going NC, what's the point? Okay? Bye!"

Come on Hun, grab that upper hand, and take your Gurl-Power back!!

Oh I just feel like I've lost the upper hand now. Even worse if he had answered while I was madly trying to turn the phone off and now he thinks I did a teenage hang up on him.

He hasn't texted back or rung or anything. I've totally lost hand.

Block the number - and delete it.

Problem solved.

I know that now, but doesn't change the fact that my phone called him

It's over. Nothing you can do about it now. Just move past it.

Uughhhh

And it doesn't help that he hasn't tried to contact me back. Totally unintentional call resulting in extra unnecessary rejection.

Stop worrying what HE thinks about the call.

Stop worrying whether HE thinks you hung up.

Stop worrying if HE will call back or not

HE is not important. He has shown himself to be an unbelievably selfish user.

YOU and YOUR healing are the important things from now on.

Delete his number from your call log and seriously consider changing your number.

I know, it's stupid, I was just feeling good then that had to happen. I'll just forget about it

Sh#t happened. Stop worrying about him anymore or whether he will call you back. If you dont want to have that accident again then delete everything about him from your phone. Everything!

Mishy, it's only a big deal if you make it one...not inferring that you have though.

Try to put it in your mind that he means nothing to you...get this in your mind and the rest will follow. In no time at all he will mean nothing to you and that is the truth.

You know Mishy, I know nothing of your backstory, but your OP spoke VOLUMNS to me and I related bigtime because I've been where you are at a few times. Time heals. Time forgets. And you will grow.

God Bless you doll!
