You should launch a website exclusively for the "dating poor." You can surround yourself with a group of people who know better than to ask you such an elitist question like, "do you drive?" Instead you'll hear questions like, "Do you like Ramon noodles?" or "Have you ever taken a date to a soup kitchen?" Call the neighbors, we are having Steakums tonight! ;)

How many pop cans can you fit in your bicycle basket?

...Or is that too materialistic of a question?

Probably for the best for her, she would probably be turned off by a low rent broke guy that sits around on her couch eating her food all day bitching about not having a job and then refusing to get a job because everything is beneath him.

What would you do in this economy any way, ask a woman on a date and then make her pay for everything?

Who's unemployed? certainly not me

Okay, I'll bite. Tell me about your personality, your likes and dislikes!

I love necking kissing

It can come up but not in the first 3 mins

Oh well. You got turned off by something she said and you ended the call. C'est la vie.

How did your other options pan out?

I never said i was broke, I just spend money wisely. And that means treating woman who are not materialistic

The End

I'm confused as to why this girl is materialistic. All because she was making conversation and asked you if you drive?? It's not like she asked you how much you make a year. Or if you own a big house or an expensive whip. Get over yourself.

If you ask someone what they HAVE then you are materialistic,

She didn't ask you what you have, she asked you if you can perform a function.

If things are panning out so well and you're so happy and aren't broke, why are you constantly complaining?

Who's is complaining? I started a thread about dating on a dating message board

And asking if you drive means do you have a car the last time I checked

I doubt it or you wouldn't be on this site bitching and dwelling over the nerve of some chick asking a simple question such as "do you drive". You'd be enjoying your other options.

Doesnt mean she is asking what you drive, just that you drive. She was probably curious how you were getting around this big city with lots of public transportation.

You're looking way too much into it.

What's wrong with me kissing me on her neck and she kissing me on my neck? lol

You said a couple of times she asked if you drive, but then you keep implying she somehow asked "what you drive".

Anyway, if someone asks what you have and you don't even have a car, your ass is broke. If you can't afford a car, you don't have a real job. You have a McJob.

The Absolute end.

It was like this

"Hey how are you

Her: "I;m fine and you?

"So how are you liking Philly so far?

Her: "I;m getting used to it day by day

Her: "Do you drive?

Me: HANGING UP THE PHONE

have you ever considered that women or girls get nervous an say things that seem random....she didnt ask you what ttype of car you had maybe she was tryign to fidn out if you had a license and was verifying you werent too young......you just dont know....and now you never will........i like it when a guy says to me why do you ask or wwhy did you say that because then i can explain what i meant because i often confuse the hell out of guys...and when i am nervous i confuse myself...sometimes you have to give people the benefit of the doubt and chances to get to know you ...you didnt give her a chance, so now you can just guess as to why she asked.....but I honestly think you dont care anyway.theres a bit fo cockinesss behind what you say because you got to hang up on her first...i think you are scared so you do it before they can.......i am unsure on why you are interested into speaking to girls or women i dont feel it is to form a connection....maybe you should explore that..i think you are scared...i know fear...your post reeks of it behind the facade of cockiness...deb

Why does she have to know how I get around the city? You see how irrelevant the question was at that point of the convo?

Cool! Then I shouldn't worry too much about car-girl.

It doesn't matter all that much what she asked or when. The output would ultimately have been the same.

Did she ask what you HAVE?? I must have missed that part of the convo. Like do you have a Lamborghini, Porsche, Benz, BMW???? She asked if you drive. Hahahahahaha I find this so ridiculous.

No grown woman should be nervous over the phone. Now face to face I can understand but not when you are in the comfort of your own home

It's perfectly relevant if she's new to the city. If she drives, you may have tips for her (where to park, routes to take or avoid).

If she doesn't drive, you could commiserate about the public transportation.
