lissab113 Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 I need to rant for a minute. As some of of you have read, I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years. We recently started working for the same new restaurant in our area. They really like him and today they offered him the possibility of moving to Pennsylvania next year to open a new store. So, today he told me about this for the first time and all he said was "How would you feel about moving to Pennsylvania?" to which I quickly and without a second thought answered "Yes!" I'm not doubting that if this happens it will be a good thing. I'm just a little overwhelmed that everything just seems to be coming together. We talk about marriage all the time now, and our relationship is as wonderful as it has ever been. I guess I don't really need any advice. I just needed to get this off my chest because I'm a little overwhelmed. Unless someone who lives in Penn wants to tell me if it's a good place to live?
chicasha Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 I moved to Philadelphia from DC about a year ago. I like it....cos I'm a city person, and love going up to NYC (only 2 hours!), and back down to DC (again..about 2.5 hours!). I like Philly...its not the best city, but there are som really cool neighborhoods. if u asked me about Pittsburgh...or anwhere in between...i'd say 'no thanks'. The rest of Penn...is kinda rural i believe. That's not for me..... depends on where ur moving to I guess. Penn...is a HUGE state.....and Philly is probably more diverse than the other parts of it..
