So there is this guy at work I really really like the first time we met I was sitting alone at a lunch table he came up to me and and said now why would someone like you be sitting alone ?then I found out he was a new employee and he just started talking to me more once he got out of training. I introduced myself and almost instantly he gave me a nickname and started teasing. The next time I seen him he remembered my name. Then would I would see him randomly he would find a way to make physical contact like putting his hands on my shoulders or moving my hand and if i had my leg up he would put it down now we have a mutual friend and this friend is always going on about how "u two are like 2 peas in a pod" jokingly now for the past week we have been having lunch together and he shares his food every time if I say no he insist that I take some if I still say no he grabs me a plate and even a fork and waits until I eat. We instant msg everyday at work and today was a tad off I ask how his day was going and then he responded not so great and asked about my day I said amazing and he replied "that's good lil homie :)"... Does this mean he only sees me as a friend? Have I been reading too deeply into the signs ?

There are no middles, either he does or doesn't. Maybe he sees you just as a good friend, perhaps he is just a friendly guy, but he might like you just doesn't know you enough to tell you. Or you can ask him out on a date and see how it goes.
