MissLY Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 (edited) This a follow-up from a previous thread entitled "The A-Hole Lied To Me". Basically in a nutshell, the guy I was dating for 3 months was too "busy" for a true relationship with me so we broke it off 2 weeks before Valentine's Day. Then I find out he spent Valentine's Day with a girl that he was dating WHILE he was dating me. So because he lied about that, I unfollowed him on twitter and unfriended him on Facebook. Now ever since I cut him off, he's been reaching out to my friends. He wished one of my friend's a "Happy Birthday! I want you to know that I care!" He also reached out to my other friend and told her about some deejaying gigs he could set her up with. Lastly, he started "liking" my sister's updates on Facebook. I'm done with the guy but I'm just confused as to why he's doing this. Can't tell if it's genuine or fake. Edited February 20, 2013 by MissLili
candie13 Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Two possibilities: he is aware that networks are important and doesn't want to look like the bad guy, especially since he treated you poorly. Nice try, it's his conscience, not yours. Second: he wants to get your attention. The stuff with liking your sister's fb is a bit much, IMO. If it really bothers you, tell her to unfriend him as well. He should NOT touch family. Stay strong, girl. If he really liked you, he would not have broken up with you. I am sure he appreciates you more since the break up... but not enough. Neeeeeext ! 1
