LoveMyWifey Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Hi, I have never considered myself to be a great flirter and it is something I would like to develop. My wife and I have been through some pretty tough times and I personally would like to learn to be better at it as a positive challenge for myself but to also put a bit of play back into our marriage. Have you ever observed couples or people in general flirting with eachother and what advice would you offer me to get me pointed in the right direction? Thanks!

Fallen Petals Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 My M has had it's ups downs and times wallowing in the gutter - but what it didn't lack until the last 6 months was passion and flirting. I'm a very passionate person and have never had qualms with telling my H when I feel the need for him to put effort forward to show me he cares. So, when he got lazy, I told him I needed him to romance me. He didn't do everything perfectly and there were some areas he was seriously lacking, but with flirting, he was good. So...what he did to make me giggle and look down like I was back in high school? Staring at me from across the room. Sometimes I'd catch him or sometimes he'd do something to cause me to lift my eyes to him, then he'd wink at me, smile, maybe even bite or lick his lip and make that Mm-mm sound. Smack my behind as I walked past him. Brought me coffee or a latte...sometimes writing on the side of the cup if it was a latte from Starbucks or something, hearts and corny cheesy things like I love you. Used terms of endearment and such like "Hey sexy" or "Who is that cutie" when I came into a room or walked into the house... Once he asked me to help him with something in the car, when I got out there there were roses and a card in the front passenger seat. In a restaurant he would take my hand from across the table and kiss my fingertips. He always gave me bites from his food with his fork, sometimes after he would smile and tell me he loved watching me eat. etc etc etc 1
MsSmurf Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Fallen Petals ideas are great. You could also hold her hand when you're walking somewhere together. When seated, put your arm around her and snuggle closely. Tell her she's beautiful, sexy, pretty, etc. Tell her she smells delicious. And kiss her. I mean really kiss her. Remember years ago when everything was new and fresh and you two would kiss for hours and it seemed like time stood still? Do that again. Both of you get dressed up and go out dancing or something. Enjoy the fact that others are checking her out, but she's going home with you. 1
