shagzu Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 My Gf and I broke up very retardely, her attitude changed when she started hanging out with this freind, she wasnt getting much sleep, really cranky most of the time, one nite I call her see if she wants to hang out and she says shes not feeling well and very tired so I came up with the plan to surprise her with flower and a movie, I go over there and she wasnt home I leave the flowers and she goe on msn later at nite and tells me she wants to break up because shes not happy so I was like ok next day I swing by and shes there with a friend (a guy) and tells she doesnt want to hang out and that there just freinds, the day after we hang out and we get into an argument but after that we have been great as freinds but she calls me all the time and she still has feeling but would never want to get back together, is she just saying that because I keep saying "this is so much better that were friends and we should have done this a long time ago, " etc..
Breathe Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Sounds to me like maybe she's playing you. Keeping you attached so that if her plan B doesn't work out she'll still have you. Being "just friends" is a work in progress that takes time after a break up. If you have resentment or she does about either of you being involved with someone else, then those feelings are still there - and it's "more than friends" - let her go completely and if she's a "friend" worth having, she'll be there when your completely over her.
