So, my ex has to give me some money for an issue that occured during our relationship (she left me about 2 months ago and is dating someone else). Her mother meets up my mother for dinner (they are friends) and gives her the sum. A couple hours later, my ex writes me a text which is more or less like:

'now that you had your ridicolous money I hope you feel better, but in reality I think you should be ashamed. Don't ever contact me for similar bull**** or other stuff. I don't like having to deal with a person like you. bye bye'

While I honestly don't care about her thoughts on me because I know I'm a better person, I felt offended by this pure, useless display of arrogange. Should I reply? I'm totally convinced of not replying, because this is so stupid it doesn't even make sense, but I'd like some thoughts more from my favourite forum :p

The opposite of love is not hate... its indifference. Not responding will piss her off waaaaay more than any insult you can craft.
