Why I took this as such a compliment: Growing up I was always the smart kid in class. But I was never physically confident. So my cross to bear as an adult has been to both develop my intellectual side (which was always very strong) AND my "alpha" side (which was much weaker). I took that compliment to mean that I have both sides of the street covered so to speak.

I had never had a girl hook, line and sinker like that. I could have asked her to crawl on broken glass for me. Sadly after a little over a month she broke up with me. I had one lady-friend who just couldn't believe that I was the real-deal and sabotaged the relationship to her chagrin....oh, well.

Necris Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I'm absolutely terrible at dating, and it seems that when I do finally get that super rare date its always with a woman who is not into me at all (guess they get bored and just want to get out of the house so they accept the date), so I never get really much in compliments at all from women, though occasionally I am told I'm a nice and/or funny person. But I have noticed women seem to like my SUV, and they will tell me my SUV looks nice. Like this one date I went on where I picked this girl up at her place and we were going to go get dinner, as I was approaching my truck in the parking lot there was another car next to it a dirty old green 2000 Toyota Camry and she started walking closer to that car as she automatically assumed that was my car:lmao:. So I told her she's going the wrong way, and I opened the door for her to my truck, and she seemed surprised going "wow, is that your truck, it looks nice". Unfortunately later that night she made that date the worst date in my life. 2
