Happy Valentine's Sunday!

 

Why that greeting?!?! Traditionally, I have never been into holidays or even birthdays....Lol most times I forgot my own. So, this is one holiday that thankfully holds no haunting memories.

 

So with no reference point.....I decided to create my own Valentine memory just for me (and my sweet Cinnabelle). My goal was to celebrate "ALL LOVE", not just romantic. Took 2 months to plan, so that definitely helped me navigate the challenging Christmas season.

 

Just a snip-it of Mystery's 4-days of Valentine's: Fresh flowers, table for one at favorite restaurant, doggie park, spa, daily call to the love's of my life (eg. parents, sister, nephew, and friends), and a smashing sexy vintage red dress

 

What I discovered?? It is all...all right! While I very much miss romantic love, and acknowledging it's importance, focusing on the faithful loves of my life...brought me great joy and happiness.

 

So in the end I had a beautiful weekend, blessed to love some precious people....and I was loved well by those closest to me.

I choose to celebrate Valentine's Day as a holiday for all of those I love, even if it isn't romantic. It was my daughter's 9th birthday and we lived it up despite being separated for three weeks.

M2M you have got it by the "short hairs" as we say down here in the country.lol
