cen Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 This is probably a bit of a specialized post, being so specific... I'm 30/m and not in the medical profession, and my girlfriend (of over a year) will soon be finding out where she matches for her medical residency. We currently live in different cities, but will be moving in together once we find out where the relocation will be. There is a good chance that she might match in a city where I know absolutely nobody, far from friends/family. I am more than willing & prepared to do this as we are completely in love, but I am still trying to find information on what to expect/advice etc.. as a partner, so I can be as prepared as possible. I know it's going to be scary at times, and difficult, but reading "don't expect to see them, ever" is not helpful. Trouble is I'm finding it extremely difficult to find ANY advice for someone in my position, as a male. Every article I've come across is written from a females perspective, dating a Male medical resident. While I gain some generalized info reading these, I can't help but feel that it misses the mark for me, so to speak. I'm not sure why I'm having such a difficult time digging anything up. So I know it's probably a long shot on here, but anyone on the forums have a resource for me to turn to or personal experience?
